Children in Year 4 are prepared for the Sacraments following the Archdiocese of Liverpool’s ‘With You Always’ programme. This family catechesis is led by the Parish and provides a wonderful opportunity for parents/carers to work closely with their children.

Preparation Workshops will take place on: 

Tuesday 21st October 2025 – Session 1 in St Stephen’s Church at 6pm

Saturday 8th November 2025 – Sessions 2 + 3 in St Stephen’s School from 10.30am – 12.30pm

Tuesday 10th February 2026 – First Confessions at St Stephen’s Church and will be followed by a short service for Year 4 families.

Saturday 28^th February 2026 – Sessions 4 + 5 in St Stephen’s School from 10.30am – 12.30pm

Saturday 28^th March 2026 – Sessions 6 + 7 in St Stephen’s School from 10.30am – 12.30pm

Congratulations to our Y4 pupils who took a special step in their sacramental journey by making their First Holy Communion on Saturday 2nd May 2026. We hope they all enjoyed their special day! Thank you to Father John for a beautiful Mass and the catechists for preparing the children so well this year.
