How we Achieve our Aims

Christ Centred Aim: Loving and sharing the Good News through kindness, forgiveness and respect.

  • To support each other on our journey with Jesus Christ, understanding and accepting our differences fostering togetherness and community.

 

  • To live out and encourage all to develop our understanding of and relationship with God as we prepare our children to become caring, responsible and forgiving Christian members of society.

 

  • To foster attitudes of tolerance and mutual respect so that everyone feels safe, valued and nurtured.

 

  • To recognise our unique gifts and talents from God and use them to live the Good News of Jesus through our words and actions.

 

Education Centred Aim: Learning and thriving with pride in an inclusive and inspiring environment.

  • To foster a love of learningand have high aspirations of ourselves and each other; developing our individual talents and interests, knowing that there is no limit to what can be achieved.

 

  • To offer a broad, balanced, innovative and challenging curriculum that provides opportunities to think, dream and explore the awe and wonder of the world around us.

 

  • To nurture spiritual, moral and social understanding rooted in Gospel Values delivered through the Come and See programme, liturgy and prayer.

 

  • To provide a learning environment where everyone feels included which encourages collaboration and co-operation as we strive to succeed.

 

Community Centred Aim: Living and serving as members of a caring and supportive community.

  • To empower everyone to be responsible and conscientious citizens of our local, national and global communities through curriculum study and community projects.

 

  • To support our neighbours locally and globally through prayer, fundraising and raising awareness of the needs of others.

 

  • To promote togetherness and family through trusting and supportive relationships recognising and celebrating everyone’s uniqueness as children of God.

 

  • To ensure everybody, without exception, has the opportunity to thrive and feel part of our school community enabling us to be the best version of ourselves.
