St Stephen’s Catholic Primary School is required to keep and process certain information about its staff members, pupils, their families, volunteers and external contractors in accordance with its legal obligations under data protection legislation. The school may, from time to time, be required to share personal information about its staff or pupils with other organisations, mainly the LA, DfE, other schools and educational bodies, and potentially children’s services. We have a policy in place to ensure all staff and governors are aware of their responsibilities and outlines how the school complies with the following core principles of the UK GDPR. As a school, we are required to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO). Our DPO is Mr Nigel Spencer, and he can be contacted via the school office on 01925 630100.
