Sports Premium

The Government give schools funding for physical education (PE) and school sport. Through what is known as a ‘Sport Premium’ the Government has provided funding to support the delivery of PE and sport in primary schools.

This funding will be ring fenced, and will be allocated directly to primary schools across England, providing them with dedicated resource to buy in invaluable expertise and support.

At St Stephen’s we are using our funding to enhance PE and Sport via investment in sports coaches, new equipment, staff CPD and refreshing our extra-curricular and competitive sports provision.
